Freeman in the 7th would be the STEAL of the draft

    Why?

Devonta Freeman is a great prospect. Should be a 3rd.

Cause he won't make it to the 7th. Who ever said all these RB's will be there in the 7th is an idiot. Expect a frantic run for RB's starting in the late 2nd early 3rd. We'd be lucky to land one of those guys in the 4th let alone the 7th.

I'd love to take a shot at McKinnon if he is available late. He's athletic, he's tough, and he can run with the ball.

Yup I suspect after the first RB goes in the 2nd the others soon follow. RB may be devalued in free agency, but its still a vital posistion to an offense. If you cant run when you need to you aint going far.

On most draft sites those RBs that I listed are not rated as top 10 in this RB class. They are rated more around 10-17. If you look at the history of the draft usually the 17th RB goes off the board in the 6th rnd. Occasionally by the 5th and sometimes 17 RBs haven't even been drafted. The draftek site takes team needs and player ranking into consideration when they do their 7 rnd mocks. I'm sure one of them will get drafted in the 4th, but odds are that one of them is available in the 7th as well.

Shonn Greene is not a lead back so we do need to draft a fresh back to take the head spot.

RB is a youth position tho. Those young guys can come in and make big splashes for 3-4 years. I'd hardly never give one a second contract tbh. If I did, his replacement/competition would quickly be on the team to lower his contract numbers. RBBC makes them less likely to land a CJ like contract because of limited carries.
