Are we overestimating our RB need?

Barr is a high risk/high reward type of player. We have lots of bodies to try at 3-4 OLBer Ayers, Wimbley, Phillips, Brown, and Morgan. So we don't have to have a 3-4 OLBer early.

I still think we need to bring in a solid MLBer.

People are going to be mad when we likely skip on a running back early. Wiz doesn't value them as much as we are used to seeing.

 

Well the last part of your statement is obvious. Hard to think of too many coaches who value RBs as much as Munch and Fisher. So by default we are going to get a new HC who does not value RB as much .

 

I mean the history of the franchise in general. We got the utility back in McCluster, and the bruiser in Greene. Likely going to grab a late rounder to balance things out in case one goes down.

 

Scares me. Going back to the start of the Fisher years we have never taken a RB past the third who ever did anything.
