I know we just lost the greatest RB to ever play the game and all. But it seems like a lot of (/most?) fans on this site seem to think its a foregone conclusion that we will be drafting RB in the 2nd, or at least that we need to. I'm just not convinced it's that big of a need. Would going into the season with Greene, McCluster, and Battle be the end of the world? Not exactly going to strike fear in anyone, but to me that's a pretty solid RB group. That said, I would like to see us draft a RB. I'm just having a hard time justifying it in the 2nd, especially since we don't have a 3rd. That means if we go QB or defense in the 1st and then take RB in the 2nd, then we're going to have to wait all the way until the 4th to get QB/defense (whichever we didn't get in the 1st). And once you start getting into those middle rounds you're REALLY rolling the dice. IDK, I'd rather wait until the 4th+ to take a RB. And honestly I think I'd prefer to not draft one at all if it means using our 2nd round pick. So how do you feel about our RB group as-is? Do you think it's a bigger need than QB and/or defense right now?
