Are The Beatles disappearing from pop culture?

    I'm 23, and I don't like the beatles, And I find it absurd when people say that they are what makes rock music what it is today, even though people were doing similar stuff, and better stuff, well before them.

    Some of Lennon's solo songs, The Stand by Me cover, and Imagine are good though.

    I don't know. I actually enjoyed 2 songs from Oasis. About 2 more than I did from the Beatles.

    Well yes.. and no...
    The Backbeat era Beatles were copping music from the 50's - Motown, Everly's etc. but the mid and late era Beatles were doing stuff nobody had ever done before. There was no Sgt. Peppers until there was Sgt. Peppers..

    im so sick of hearing about those old bands.

    these old people need to let go! you dont see the 80's kids still holding onto Guns n Roses or White Snake.


    just let these old bands die out. live in the future not the past.
