Perhaps there is a reason Jrob isn't pursuing another CB? Maybe the coaches know something we don't?

Sims had some pretty nice games late last year and Reed played admirably in his limited snaps.

Maybe one of them is the intended starter opposite Ryan?!

That would be some crazy a$$ gangsta sh*!

Simms will be in the mix in TC IMO for a starting spot. But you can't bank on it working out

I def see Simms fighting for the spot opposite Ryan, and Reed fighting for our slot

They both seemed like that were getting better with more reps. I think Sims would be more of a breakout player than Reed

Sims looked capable when he had to play last year, but I wouldn't be counting on him (yet).

I love Reed's route recognition skills and his ability to locate the ball as soon as the WR comes out of his breaks, it's almost like he's played WR.

Sims I'd like to see a bit more physicality and balance

Hate to be a buzzkill but none of our DBs are worth a F**k. Sims looked ok because of how God awful Cox and McCain were. I think he can be a decent 3rd CB but I don't see anything spectacular in him. Reed will be better than McCain but that's not saying much.

Ryan is a legit corner and I'm glad we have him. Can't rely on JMac to be our #2 longer than week 1 so you have to think we're taking a corner or 2 in the draft.

Sims looks like he has a lot of potential. Reed looks like a practice squad player.

How did these selections help out this year?

Moral to the post: Let JR do his job! We went 9-7 in his 1st year as GM!
