    when I looked into them I came away with the thought that if you can legit qualify for a loan you dont need a VA loan. Seemed to only be of value to people with marginal credit

    I get that impression too, but I like the idea of them acting as insurance. I also don't have anything saved up as far as a down payment goes so that was a plus.

    I know little about the process so I'm just checking things out. Ideally I would like to keep my payment below $800 but that seems to be near impossible without a down payment. I got a healthy promotion at work but I don't want to spend it either.

    ***** already stressful and I've only browsed websites.

    well without a healthy downpayment VA would be more attractive.

    There are lots of people out there who will take advantage of people. Especially renters, who 99 percent of the time, won't go pay lawyer fees to bring up a good case against them.

    ya we walk in today I was ready to give in, well not give in but willing to kaybe compromise, til she said "don't worry we ain't taking you to court" then I was like ooooh hellll nooo. Reversed my whole thought process, fought it, asked for the corporate email address, she was like "ok ill just honor it you wont pay til October"

    Yea because moving a family for $1000 is dirt cheap

    but good for 520 for coming out on top with $1000 in his pocket, Im sure he'll use it wisely to buy a couple ounces of weed..
