ESPN did a SportsCenter special today where they did a mock draft. It was Mike Golic, Mark Schlereth, Floyd Reese, and Michael Smith making picks for the teams. Each person was assigned 8 teams (Floyd got the Titans and had us picking Ginn). But the draft was riddled with reaches. They had Anthony Spencer going in the top fifteen I believe, and Amobi Okoye falling to the Jets. New England taking Brandon Merriweather. Alan Branch falling all the way to the Colts. And Robert Meachem not even in the first round.

If those DTs fall that much, one won't get past us.

There was an interactive one online as well, and both Branch and Moss fell past us. We took meacham. Gaines fell all the way to #10 and the Texans went DE AGAIN. Things could get interesting tomorrow. It also had a heavy run on CBs early (12-15).

Ah, but both Todd McShay and Mel Kiper, Jr. both commented that Floyd was the only one who knew how the draft worked... and I think both, or at least Mel, gave Floyd kudos for the Ginn pick. They credited him for doing the best job of the four.

Only ones who knew how the draft worked? How hard is it? When it's your turn, pick a player.

Ridiculously simple (unless you're the Vikings).
