No this is not a fire Fisher thread, or a rant about the loss today. This is a serious inquiry on Cowher who might come back next year to coach. He would be the same style of Fisher, smash mouth football, but i think he would be better having the Ding handle the offense attack wise then Fisher has beem. Fisher is more conserative then attacking. He has held Young's potential back for far too long.

I personally feel this is Fishers last year and if i want anyone to come in here and replace Fisher i want it to be to be Cowher. Hes well respected, and hes proven too. Also i think our type of defense would fit his image too to this team.

Thoughts on this? Ive been thinking about this during the offseason. Last year just showed me Fisher doesnt know how to win in todays NFL. 141-114 is awesome no doubt, but we havent been close to the super bowl since 02 and since then, have been a first round knockout, due to no passing offense or strong offensive presence. Im tired of it and i think we need to change the head coach to make that next move. This isnt about this year, this is about our future im thinking about here. Feel free to post your thoughts.

Fisher is already daydreaming about coaching in Dallas, I'm sure. Which is great for us...

I'll take anyone who doesn't allow us to be outcoached by Norv Turner and Tony Sparano personally.

I would like John Gruden. But we'll end up with Rex's twin Brother from Cleveland.

Cowher would never come here because he doesn't want to compete against the Rooneys. Plus add in the dish towel stomp thing.

That said, I'd love to have him here. Then again, I'd love to have anyone as the HC that's not Fisher and not on the staff currently.

Gruden is not a bad choice either, the next best thing after Cowher, Gruden would know how to handle this team, as u heard his knowledge on monday night vs the Jags.

We need a coach whos not so conserative and knows how to handle the talent on the team. Fisher is a great coach in many ways, but lets face it, play calling and style of play hasnt always been his forte.
