So I stopped by Home Depot to return some hardware I didn't need, and like I always do I went towards the grills and stuff, and saw cedar planks, so I bought two.

Ive never grilled anything on planks before, but always hear good things about it, and tonight I'm gonna give it a try.

Anyone have any good recipe's or suggestions before I try this later on???

Yes, delicious. I usually just use some old bay or lemon pepper seasoning with some olive oil and squeeze a lemon over it afterwards.

Ok well my mom does it, I'm in college so yes I live with my roomates still. (grandmas boy plug)

I've had it at Americano, but never done it myself. It's good though.

Alright so I made it. It was good as hell. Cant believe Ive never done salmon this way before.

The only hangup in the process was I didn't soak the cedar planks long enough. 1 hr wasnt cutting it. That thing caught fire in seconds, almost cost me a meal. But I did like I was advised and had water on hand to keep things from getting crazy.

your suggestion was essentially what I did. I was seeing all kinds of crazy recipes online with sauces and marinades, but I chose to just go with olive oil, pepper, and fresh squeezed lemon juice.
