I can't comprehend how Amano can possibly be allowed to start at Center again.

We wont win a championship with him playing. I mean come on Munchak wtf,cut the piece of chit already.

And put who in? We may not honestly have anyone that can step up in that role and play better. (God I hope we do)

And trust me, playing devil's advocate, cause I honestly want to see anyone but Amano at center for the team.

No way this goes unaddressed during the draft. I am confident we spend a pick on someone fairly early and will be better than Amano. The only time I would be worries is if we start pre season with him as the starter.

LeRoy Harris or Valesco are better than Amano at Center...Hell, a life size Stormtrooper replica is a better Center than Amano.

Harris had a great game at Center when we beat the Steelers week16 2008.

Fishturd somehow built on that by giving the job to Amano the next season.
2009 Crumpler helped by effectively being an extra lineman.

I'd honestly feel better with anyone starting but Amano. If the replacement is just as bad, hey at least they acknowledged Amano had to go.

As much as I love to bash Amano, CJs issues werent all on the center. Harris and his holds killed the run game. Also, CJ seemed blind out there. Dude never saw openings how he did before. The other thing is CJs effort was crap. The Hutchinson signing should help a lot.

I'm pretty sure there is somebody in the draft that Munch wants. Munch and Bruce aren't idiots, they know how bad Amano is. If Munch wanted a new center via FA, we would told the FA to pay somebody. It seems we brought in a lot of people, looking for bargains... but never really wanted to sign them. I'm hoping Munch has hand picked somebody in the draft. Remember Amano was a 7th Rd Pick, and started 2 games his rookie year [at guard]. If we draft a 1st-4th round C, he could beat out Amano in camp.

There is no way C goes unaddressed. I think they will see who they can get in the draft, and if there is nobody there that they like, then they may try to bring in an FA later to compete with Amano/Valesco. But I think it is pretty obvious that they looking to replace Amano since they brought in 5 guys to look at. But the main reason that I'm not worried is that they at least admitted their mistake and are looking for a solution ... not something we have been accustomed to, and I have a lot of faith that Munch will have fixed this problem once the season starts
