CJ certainly was great in his early years, but unless he wants to be remembered as a flash in the pan who tanked once he got the big contract, he has to start producing again. I don't know if he cares or not. I hope he does, but regardless of the blocking, which is very important, he has not shown anything so far this season. I keep waiting for him to break some big runs. I hope he can soon.

Deuce Wayne Damnit, I cant find my driving moccasins anywhere!

Not going in to the fetal position every time someone touches him would be a great start for CJ.

I'm beginning to wonder if the only way CJ can regain the fanbase of TN, at this point, is to do one of two things:

    1. Play LIGHTS OUT football the rest of the season, or

    2. Pay back a chunk of his signing bonus after many fans see this as the Crime of the Century

Will either happen? I don't think so, either...

I'm as frustrated as anyone when it comes to C.J., but why are some of you acting like his signing bonus came out of your pockets? The Tennessee Titans Football Company has funds allocated for their salary cap, and have to spend it somewhere. Don't tell me it is your money either because you bought a $85 ticket and go to every home game. Tickets go up in cost almost every year, and the $2 increase in price the last 2 years isn't to cover C.J.'s $30M signing bonus, it's to upgrade LP Field.

And claiming he got paid and quit doesn't work. Dicks Sporting Goods, Powerade, Flashy Lifestyle Entertainment, MTV, C.J.'s own outside merchandising all helped make C.J. rich before cashing in on his lucrative contract..

IMO what's ruined him in 2011 is a regular QB who can't go out the back door for 50 yards, Eugene Amano & Jake Scott, Mike Heimerdinger's new scheme that Chris Palmer adopted and tweaked, and being lonely. Yes, I said he's lonely. TN is not a friendly place for a kid from Orlando. His pals Vince Young, LenDale White, Kenny Britt, and Ryan Mouton are gone on Sundays.

You guys hate him, no skin off my nose, but when you b8tch and bicker to the point the team does cut ties with him, and he goes off and terrorizes us, I'll be laughing.

You mean, just like EG and VY terrorize us? Yet to see anyone leave the Titans and do anything successful. CJ won't get his number called as often for a team that doesn't have any loyalty to him, they'll see his lack of heart and effort and not let it drowned the team.

If he's lonely, buy a dog, don't give me that crap, seeing what happened to "His Boyz" should've made him appreciate what he has that much more. I mean he could be.........out of the league and fat, rehabbing a blown Achilles at 24, rehabbing a blown ACL at 24, or truly hated and a sitting behind Michael Vick watching Andy Reid pray he never has to put him in the game again.

I'm not sure why you jumped on the CJ excuse train today. When somebody underperforms consistently, people will complain and boo. CJ is getting the comeuppance from fans, for his play. I've got 2 CJ jerseys, ashamedly. He hasn't done anything in 2011 do justify any loyalty to him, IMO. A year changes many things, see the Colts.
