You're right. We may never know. But I think that story was just that.

    A story.

While Bud may have liked VY as a football player, "he" would have never "made" that pick on his own (only Jerry Jones does that). If he did his management team would have stepped down immediately.

And, now that Reese is gone, one has to assume that the person who wanted Young was Fisher.

Besides, Fish seems to be having the most fun he's had since the "playoff years." And that, I'd say is without question due to Vince.

    Absolutely not...

Reese and Bud wanted Young... Fisher preferred another QB who-must-not-be-named

I have heard that from Reese's mouth on his show. His quote was something to the effect of "Bud and I wanted VY, and we won that argument"

This was while Reese was still here with the Titans. On Reese's All Access show.

What motive would he have to lie then? None at all. :clown:

Unless he already knew he was on his way out?

Even then, it doesn't matter. There is 0 indication that he lied about that. You speculating that he didn't want VY is really just silly. There is no proof that he didn't want VY, and there is proof that he did want him. :grrhee:

Since Fisher coached Cutler in the Senior Bowl, and advised Shanahan to take him.......ummmmmm
