Has anyone heard where the Titans got the towels in the first place? I find it hard to believe they just had them sitting around on their sidelines. I heard Steelers fans where filling them with ice and pelting the players on the sideline. Did anyone witness anything like that going on?

Nope. And there is security all around there.

Someone probably either dropped a towel over the rail, threw it in disgust or someone paid a Steelers fan for theirs.

That would have been hilarious if it was true..

I recall reading a user comment on tennessean.com from a fan sitting close to the sidelines claiming that the Tear Towel wasn't an original but instead just a yellow towel with the words scribbled on with a magic marker.

I want to know where the towel is now. It wasn't an official towel but some kind of knockoff deal. I want to buy it for the man cave. I'll kindly give a donation to the Titans Foundation for it.

Looking at that Terrible Towel it looked like a homemade job. Some misguided Nashville Steeler fan couldn't buy one locally so he made his own. Then there's the possiblity that Bulluck made it.

I heard all the bathrooms had the tp removed and those stoopid towels were put in their place.
