    Mariota's supporting cast has been terrible until this year. And even this year he has a lot of unknowns. We definitely invested in it though for once. His rookie year and second season he had Delanie and that was literally it. It's why he checked down to Demarco so often.

    I agree. But having a top 5 TE in the game isnt something to honestly shrug off. MM rookie year roster was bad, and I am not going to sit here and act like it wasnt. But the 2016 roster Marcus has had is pretty much talented, Luck hasnt had a roster like that ever since his been in the league. I actually do think MM8 will be better than Luck, but its hard to sit here and say that you would rather have Mariota instead of a healthy Luck right now. But this shoulder injury seems pretty serious and who knows if we ever see Lick play again like he did just few years ago.

    MM had a decent roster last year, not great still, but not bad and he played very well. There were points in last year where he was getting mentioned as a potential MVP candidate in a the media.

    MM hasn't put up the numbers Luck did, but we have a different style of offense. Luck throws like 50times per game. We will never do that under Mularkey

    Hopefully as he starts to get chemistry with his new WRs and Taylor/Davis get experience he will be able to flourish.

    I love Mariota but if anyone is arguing he's more talented than Luck you are a special kind of stupid. Luck is a once in a lifetime talent ruined by a really bad team. He'd have at least one ring on half of the franchises in the NFL.

    Reggie Wayne is a special WR. A more talented Anquan Boldin.

    He caught everything that came his way from Luck. Deflected passes and everything. He was crazy good. The ultimate safety valve.

    Wayne was in his last good year. He really hasnt done much after that 2014 season. Its not Luck had an prime time R Wayne to work with. The debate is that Luck hasnt had close to the same offensive line MM8 had the luxury with playing last year, nor did he even have the same type of running game MM8 had.

    Rishard Mathews is easily an WR2 on any team, and could of easily racked up 1,000 yard if he Andre Johnson wasnt taking his targets early in the season.

    No... the debate has been about QBs, Oline, Running AND WRs. You're the one that brought up Reggie Wayne.

    Mariota had a better line with better weapons last year. Luck's numbers were way better
