    Per Jason LeCanfora, Bucs are open to trading CB Verner for a veteran WR now that Vincent Jackson went down. Think they'd take Johnson or Douglas? And if so, would it be worth IT? He's gotta be better than Cox!

    If they're willing to take either/both AJ and Douglas for Verner with no draft picks involved, absolutely do it.
    We can find another low end WR in either FA or from the PS to fill AJ spot. We only need a water cooler to fill Douglas's spot.
    Unfortunately, I'm thinking they want more than that.

    Why trade for him? He'll cost millions less in a year or two when he gets cut. He's obviously not the same player he was in his first stint here.

    Don't need a player who didn't want to be here. F Verner, let him ride the pine in Tampa. It's not like he's going to be a difference maker for us this year anyway.
