But to answer your question, the thing is you can accept some responsibility without necessarily shouldering all of the blame. You certainly don't publicly say/insinuate your line and coaching is the problem. And you most definitely do not call out your team's fans for criticizing you.

I've never really wished ill will towards former Titans that have joined other teams but in this case I hope he has the worst season of his career because I'm so sick of listening to his blame everyone under the sun but himself mentality.

OK, I get that. What I'm getting at is do you accept responsibility because it's the "right" thing to do even though you don't actually feel responsible? You shouldn't ever throw your teammates under the bus, but the question is do you throw yourself under the bus? Again I know this seems CJ related but it isn't. The fact that he was a part of the problem automatically disqualifies him from this hypothetical.
