"He allegedly was speeding in his 2008 black Ferrari and trying to pass Corey Edmonson of Nashville, who lost control and crashed into the concrete median."

I get it that people do some stupid things sometimes, but this is pretty bad. I'm all for increasing penalties on people who drive really dangerously. If you're going 78 in a 70, who cares, but if you're going 95+ in a 70, and have had multiple tickets like that, I'm fine with putting you in jail and/or taking away your driver's license for a long time.

He won't do any jail time but I'm sure he will lose his license for about a year

There's no need for him to be driving anyway, especially when he already had a record for it. He can afford a driver, sheesh. Yeah, waste your money on a ferrari and overpriced champagne at clubs for other people, but don't hire yourself a driver to keep you from getting into legal trouble.

The opportunities that NFL players have, and the things that they do to waste them, just astound me.
