    True, Rodgers had an established QB to learn from though and the trend is heading towards QB's progressing from playtime not from sitting and watching. There are not as many Rodgers as there are Brock Osweilers, and this situation is way different than the Rodgers Favre one.

    Rodgers needed that time as a backup, he had a weak arm and weird mechanics, Metts probably further along in year-2, but with a lower ceiling....

    Don't be sorry I'm not 100% on my opinion, I just figure that if Mariota goes (God forbid) halfway through the year that Mett will be playing as good as he is in preseason. Right now he is getting so much attention because of all the playing time he is getting. He's played more in our games than any of our QB's

    No.2's always see a ton of action this time of year, just preseaosn protocol.

    Week-4 will be a good test for Mett, he'll probably get a shot with the starters after Mariota comes out early.. Thats the game 520 should be waiting on, until now he's been dicing up backups, not sure where he is but he is better than last year..
