I'd like see your solution step by step if you say you didn't make any assumptions, because as I see it, it's not a strict DFA.
I'm pretty sure there isn't.
I set up an excel sheet & just went at it through a process of elimination. Any answer other than the correct one doesn't 'fit' with the hints.

Man, that was pretty hard, you have to make 1 assumption, and if your right, then its fine...
How is everybody here solving it and supposedly getting it right, when only 2% of the world could solve according to Einstein.
People were a lot dumber (on average) at Einstein's time.
2% of the world is a lot of people.
Maybe 10% of that 2% are on this forum.
Well I doubt Einstein meant to include everyone from infant to Alzheimers when he said 2%, otherwise you're right, that's a lot of people.
Alzheimer's even diagnosed back then?
