Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is an amazing series of courses. Pricey, but worthwhile.

Best college football team ever. A coach who got his nickname because he really wrestled a bear heard mama calling and the rest was history.

My mom lives in foley on the gulf coast. Nice area..

Food! Best BBQ in the country! Ribs and pulled pork. Chilton county peaches are to die for and norhern alabama is known for deep fried hamburgers similar to dyers in memphis.

Many civil rights monuments and historical places. Selma, montgomery and birmingham. A visit to the 16th st baptist street in birmingham is not an easy thing to experience. 4 girls were murdered by a bomb planted by a klan a-hole an event that changed the country. One of the girls who died in the blast was denise mcnair a friend of condoleezza rice. I think we have made some progress there.

Blazing arrow mentioned that hank aaron and willie mays were both from alabama but so also was saitchel page. Jesse owens was born in alabama and so was joe louis.
