Akeem Ayers

I watched the game on a stream so I missed some parts of the game but was anyone happy with Ayers play today? he seemed to be making a good amount of tackles and rushed McCown a few times

Looked solid for a first game. Didn't seem to miss tackles like the entire front line was doing so that's good.

If we had 11 Ayers on the D, we would have won easily.

Very impressed by him so far.

Ayers was one of the few bright spots today.

Played well, heard his name quite a few times and he made some good stops on MJD.

Being the resident Ayers hater and doubter- from listening on the radio he seemed to be the only one making tackles.

He made 3 tackles in a short span on one Jaguars drive.

7 tackles total.


Ruud had 14 tackles?? Wtf...

Ruud was in on 14 tackles, 8 solo. Very few were at the line of scrimmage.

Ayers 7 tackles 3 solo.

Spoon 5 tackles 4 solo.

Mcgrath 5 tackles 4 solo.


FYI Tulloch had 4 tackles all solo for the Lions yesterday.

He didn't look good on the MJD 21y TD rush. If it was missed assignment or what I don't know, but he look "burned".
