    Ayers
    Ruud
    Spoon

McRath can play inside and outside so he'll be the 4th LB and Curran should get some PT.

I'd like to see our LB depth chart as:

    Ayers - 'Spoon - Curran
    Ruud - 'Spoon - McCarthy - Shaw
    McRath - 'Spoon - Curran

McRath hasn't really been that impressive and especially after that steroid incident.

Spoon will definitely beat out McRath.

I have a GREAT feeling about Ayers

All of a sudden our LB corps looks good!

    Ayers--Ruud--Spoon starting

McRath & Curran are solid backups. Mccarthy may turn into something as well, and then you have Shaw in emergency who is a special teams standout himself.

    yeah i like the lineup lb as;

rudd in the middle with 'spoon n ayers on the outside

mcrath has the fill-in at any of the 3 lb spots

Not making him out like he is superman or anything but when you can play all 3 LB positions, having that kind of utility is great for the team.

Suicidal if this joke ends up playing on Sundays.

He's god awful. Give it more than a week of practice to show he sucks. They're not tackling yet- something he can't do even when in full pads.

Spoon is good but nothing special. McRath has more upside. And i think he will end up winning. Still like Spoon as a backup.

He's had a pretty damn good career and was easily our best LB last year IMO. He hasn't lost a step either.

McRath on the other hand has been on the decline since the steroids.

I'd be absolutely shocked if McRath starts week one over Spoon.

I'm really surprised (but happy) Ayers is likely to start.
