Yeah, because I've talked up either of those guys...

Though at this point it's Witherspoon over Ayers, easily.

Spoon isn't competing with Ayers though.

I think much like Verner most Titans fan's are overrating him.He is a good player but not as good as some you people thing he is.

I think ayers,Verner and COOK have the potential to become stars but they have a long way to go.

    Do you ever make sense?

    That actually makes sense.

Potential doesn't mean someone IS great.

I got what he meant, I just enjoy giving him a hard time.

Although I don't think anyone is overrating either one of them. Verner gets love because he makes plays. I've never seen anyone call him top ten or anything close to that. I think people just like him because he was a mid-round pick who turned into an immediate contributor.

Same with Ayers. Immediately put in the lineup as a rookie and has done a pretty good job. I doubt he wins DROY though, he isn't in enough sub packages yet.

I just hope Ayers justifies the role like Verner does constantly.

Verner reminds you why people think highly of him. Guy just finds the ball and makes plays.

Don't expect him to know important things like that.

Spoon and Mcgrath have been our most impressive linebackers from what i see.

I think we will rotate more people on our defense under gray. In the past we rotate D-linemen especially the Dts but we will be doing more of that at other positions like safety and linebacker. Gray saw the films of a tired defense last year that couldn't get off the field. I think this year everyone will play some.
