Hmm.. I remember us bringing up that no one expected us to be great this year... SOO many people will be eating crow after this one...

    http://www.gotitans.com/goForum/showthread.php?t=36350

Sorry to call people out but..(just fun in retrospect, no disrespect.)
    (in no particular order)

Ironically, Burner28 said:"I hate this pick more than Chris Henry." and "Does anyone realize that if we traded that pick and a 4th to the Steelers and could've gotten Mendenhall?! Can you believe that!!"

Laserjock:We will never win the division running the ball. I agree with Steve Young...this division is building passing offenses all around us and we remain focused on choosing an RB???

oneton:**** MIKE REINFELDT AND JEFF FISHER. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT SEASON WHEN WE HAVE 3 RB'S WHO CAN'T DO A DAMN THING.

bigtitan: "am i supposed to be believe that the fifth best runningback in this class is better than the number one WR?

    i don't think so.

awful pick. we should have signed trung candidate if we wanted someone with speed who can't run between the tackles."

And from what I saw.. people who ended up looking good or at least not bad...

    JesseStylex was right on.

and some others, well, of course the ECU fan who came here just to hype CJ too.

    Have fun.

ouch. big ouch. CJ was a pleasant surprise, and i'm honored to have him on the team. I was more upset with the Chris Henry pick. My justification was, we wasted a 2nd round pick on a RB, and now we could, possibly again, waste a first.

I'm still mad about that Chris Henry pick

I was a big Mendenhall guy. Thank God I don't have MR's job.

RollTide was right about Forte though. How we could have had just as good a back in Forte later in the draft.

Same here. He and Manningham. Sucks that Mario's burried in the depth chart at the moment though.

It takes a quarterback to get a receiver a ball. Do you think if Desean Jackson had Vince young as his QB, that he would be nearly as good as he is having McNabb?

I think I hated the fact we spent another high pick on a Running Back.
