The Lions should offer the Skins their 1st draft pick for Albert.

I don't think Shanahan and Allen would have gotten Big Al

    Um...

No they shouldn't. AH is not gonna be at his peak level for more than a few more years. They could get a franchise LT that could be a Pro Bowl caliber player for the next decade and still get a VERY good DT at the top of round 2 (or trade up a few spots if needed).

I would gladly welcome Pacman back before I would even consider Haynesworth. The guy made his choice, and he wanted to get paid over anything else. Good riddance.

uh, I think I'd take Albert over Pac.. Jones is one stripper pole away from a lifetime NFL ban. You could at least get half a solid season out of Al for a couple more years...

I'd take both in their prime...

Pacman just wants to play. Albert doesn't care anymore, he has his money on the way and will do just enough to keep a roster spot.

At least Pacman will be on his best behavior. Worst case scenario, we're not stuck with a ginormous contract or any guaranteed money when he gets kicked out of the league. If anything, we get money BACK. Albert will do nothing but when he doesn't get his way and eat up cap space.

I'd take my chances replacing him. Signing a mere hours after midnight validated every suspicion I'd had of his sudden All Pro performance. I hope he continues to have a great experience in Washington.

No surprises here....Big Al got the big check, and has done the big disappearing act. Been predicting this for years.

The best move our FO did was franchising him in 08...too bad we choked in the playoffs.
