I'm concerned about the wide recievers as well as Jake Scott... he struggled. I'm just glad that those two monsters are gone from Jacksonville or it woudl be a long day for him.

I was here last week when VY apparently had a "Good" game against the Rams on 6 passes. I guess now that I think about it, anytime we can limit VY to 6 passes, i'll call that a success. We should run the wishbone:banned:

Yeah...I agree that his mechanics may be part of the problem. His timing just seems way off. Collins was throwing to a spot where the receiver was going to be yet VY seems to throw it to where the receiver is at...and so he ends up throwing it behind the guy or the defender is already there.

I just don't see any improvement in VY's passing skills since he got here, at least in hitting the quick route or the tight spots. I am keeping my VY goggles on though for now and hope he will evolve at some point.

If Collins' is the example of what to do right, how come his completion percentage is so low?

VY will be fine. His main problems last week centered around 2 things. First, hesitating a bit until the WR was open instead of anticipating that the WR would be open and throwing it a touch early. 2nd, not stepping into this throws which affected his accuracy. Both can be fixed.

He made the right reads and made the right throws.

I wish Auburn would do that a little.

For what it's worth, I heard/read somewhere (no idea where, but it stuck in my brain) that Dinger doesn't use hot routes.

Are you talking about the Hot-routes or using Vince as a passing QB?:banned:
