Looks like the floor market for CJ has been set. DeAngelo Williams signed for 5 years, $43 million with $21 million guaranteed.

The Panthers are idiots. Between Cam Newton, Charles Johnson, and DeAngelo Williams, they'll be spending around $150 million.

DeAngelo's contract basically seals a 5 year/ $55mil deal with $30mil guaranteed for CJ. Great.

If I were GM, I would sign CJ to a 3 year/$28mil deal. Then let him walk after that.

20+% of our salary in 2011 was going to be Chris Hope, Vince Young, and Justin Gage... we can't talk much. lol

That'd be nice, but I doubt he signs for that amount.

Is Kevin Burnett the ILB that gives Peyton fits? If so, he's out there. And since Eric Weddle signed a big contract, San Diego probably wont negotiate with Burnett's crazy figures. Not so sure we will either but he may come down soon to reasonable numbers..
