Tough call. Sanders is possibly one of the best safeties in the league but my money is on Griffin and Hope assuming Hope comes back to form.
Sanders is the most over rated player in the league.
He's certainly not the best safety in the league.
I picked the Titans because Griffin is a ballhawk and Hope is an all-around very good S.
I did this on this assumption that Hope is at least 90% at the start of the year. The Jags, Colts, and the Titans all have one perfectly healthy, great S. Hope puts us over the top with the Colts second.
As much as I like Sanders. I think Hope/Griffin can be the best in the league by 2009.
I agree, our two are the best combination. Anyone who doesn't think Sanders is a great S is nuts. He is the best player on their defense.
Sanders is a monster player. One of the 3 best safeties and one of the 15 best defensive players period. There is no better safety in this league than bob sanders.
Note that the colts were 1st in scoring defense last year.
