Titans by a mile though....
The only reason the Texans LB corps. is considered alright is because of Ryans. That's the only reason.
I doubt it will be Fowler. Probably Tulloch.
But I'd say the Titans on the strength of Bulluck and Thornton.
Fowler should get a deal with Tropicana... call it Football Juice...
Really? By a mile???
Demeco is the best of any of the linebackers in the South. Clicking on this link shows Morlon Greenwood 14th in total tackles. The only LB you guys have up there with Demeco and Morlon in terms of statistics shown here is Thornton.
Demeco Ryans: 128 tackles, 99 solo, 2 sacks, 8 pdef, 1 int, 3 fumrec, 1 td
Morlon Greenwood: 118 tackles, 90 solo, 1 sack, 5 pdef, 1 int, 1 ff.
Throw in depth with newly signed LB ROSEVELT COLVIN (signed today), Zach Diles (new starter coaches love), new draft pick Xavier Adibi out of Va, tech, and new free agent.. former 2nd round pick Chaun Thompson... and the Texans are right up there. Solid depth and tough competition in training camp next month.
Again... update: Texans sign LB Rosevelt Colvin today. He will be a pass rushing specialist on passing downs... so will be a DE/LB hybrid. Bentley wont get a whole lot of playing time. It will be between Zach Diles, Colvin, and new draft pick Adibi. Might want to update the poll.
i think clint ingram is the other starter for jacksonville, not durant.
no way finnegan had more tackles than bulluck last year.
For some reason its only showing him at 88 then? Says the same on ESPN stats. Def seems he should have alot more like in previous years. Anyways... Greenwood and Ryans (i think best of em all) are up there with Bullock and Finnegan. Throw in the addition of Rosevelt Colvin, our new signees, draft pick,etc.. and no way its by a mile yall over us. In fact, its pretty damn close imo.
