Garcon, Amendola, Britt, Maclin in that order..
Have a few tough ones this week:
The Rapist or Ponder or Vick- Pretty sure I will not be rolling with Vick this week. So it's really The Rapist or Ponder. I feel like 99 out of 100 people would tell me to go with The Rapist. But only we Titan fans know exactly how turrble we are against the pass. So my gut is telling me that Ponder is the sneaky play that could pay huge dividends.
Martellus Bennett or Jared Cook- Bennett has been straight ballin' all season long. Then I finally put him in my lineup last week and he burns me with one catch for 2 yards. Still, I'm feeling like he's the better play this week. I'm not real confident in any Titan offensive players.
Flex: Cedric Benson or Stevan Ridley- Oh Ridley. He leaves me hanging in week 3 so, out of spite, I sit him week 4. Of course he goes ahead and blows up and I leave 22 points sitting on my bench and lose my matchup. I'm still leaning Benson here. I think he's more of a guarantee to get the bulk of his team's carries. You just never know what Belichick's going to do. But man it hurt watching Ridley blow up last week and I'd hate for that to happen again.
M. Floyd vs NO
Bowe vs Bal
Right now, I am actually siding towards Bowe, only because Floyd has been slow.
Leaning towards Battle, because he had a monster game last week, had a decent one the game before, and after a tough Mathews fumble, Norv Turner has even seemed to suggest that Battle might be getting some good carries.
I try to not let one week sway my decisions......even though its hard at times.
Big Ben, but you bring up decent points about Ponder. However, I don't see him putting up huge numbers. We have been facing crazy offenses this year, and this will probably come as easy.
Bennett, like you said, Titans players are just too inconsistent.
This is your hard one, as you can never tell what either team will do. However, I think Benson is more reliable with guaranteed points.....while Ridley has the ability to put up big numbers. I think Ridley is your better option.
I'm late to the party here... gonna wait till tomorrow after classes to chime in and post any advice I may need.
Yeah, I am generally very good about keeping a broader perspective. But I just didn't want to chance two dud weeks in a row from Ridley. I knew when I drafted him that you can't really trust Belichick. Now this Bolden kid came out of nowhere and rushed for 100+ yards as well. I may actually try to see what I can get for Ridley in a trade. He's a top 10 fantasy RB right now and I just don't see him staying that way throughout the season. The Pats RB-approach is way too "game-to-game" for my liking.
I think you're right about Roeth. I still think Ponder has huge blowup potential in the game. But the Vikes very well could just run it down our throats. Rapist is the safer play.
I would go Rapist, Bennett, and Ridley. If you want to go safe go benson, but Ridley definitely has the higher upside
Alright. This is my pride and my money league. I need 2 WR spots Nd a flex spot.
WR are Britt vs Min, Jordy vs Indy, colston vs SD, Bowe vs Baltimore, or Amendola vs Arizona
Flex is same as above and add Ridley vs Denver and Fred Jackson vs SF. And steven jackson vs arizona. Not going with Fred against the 49ers d
My starting RB in that league is AP and Jamal Charles
I think you got it right. Bowe and Battle.
