    Really???? I think they got hit by a bullet the day they hired him. The day he left they were trying to stop the bleeding, and still trying to recover.

    Not like they would've done any better had Kiffin stayed with the Vols. The Vols would still be horrible which is evident by Kiffin's coaching record at USC.

    The only hope for the Vols would've been Monte. Of course the Vols would probably be facing a death penalty from NCAA as well.


    (and I'll admit I was dead wrong about Kiffin cause I was excited when the Vols hired him)

    Monte apparently has no magic left...a least at the college level. That defense is horrible.

    He's not even with USC anymore.

    He couldn't handle the spread offenses of the PAC.

    I think he would've fared better against the more traditional offenses in the SEC.
