Here's how I see it: If we're desperate enough to take a chance on Mike Williams? We're surely desperate enough to take a chance on the most impressive player of our preseason, right? What do we have to lose? Ealy showed spark, he showed burst, and he showed the most important thing most our offense hasn't - potential.
So why not? Just one week let the kid play. He was apparently impressive enough to sign out of nowhere, why not give him a shot to make some plays?

I'll now use this time to promote Biren Ealy by way of youtube.com:

^beats everyone deep and catches a TD pass from Kerry Collins.

I just don't see what it could hurt to start him in place of one of our other inconsistent receivers, you know? Take a chance Fish and Co. Balls! That's what we want to see from you. Just some balls. Caught ones.

    Surprise!!!

Gloat I agree with you,why not?

I don't see how Ealy or Paul Williams could possibly be any worse than Brandon Jones & Roydell. While we're at it when Henry returns let's see what he can do for the rest of the year.

Roydell has made some plays but sometimes he appears to not know whats going on. He looked horrible on that throw in the endzone vs the Bengals. It was embarrasing to watch a professional WR look that bad trying to adjust to a pass. Has his eyes been checked? He was positioned perfectly to make a catch but turned the other way for some reason.

I would love to give Ealy a shot. Heck....they let Chris Davis play for 9 weeks...why can't Ealy get some love. I also wish Filani was on the Titans practice squad.

I dont see how 2 receivers that have been on the team since preseason could be any worse that Mike Williams (an overweight receiver thats been on the squad a week). Id give them a chance before M Williams. Paul Williams returned kicks in college, how come he hasnt been given a chance to improve our lack luster speacial teams play

At this point anything is better than what we got. I really had hope for B.Jones but he has shown little to nothing. I agree activate Ealy. Let him play why not. Coming off a game where Justin Gage was the leading receiver I'll take anything. Now if we can get a playmaker at running back....

I think Gage is actually our most consistent WR. Who would have thought?
We just need something, and seeing as how we're not going to have Chad Johnson suit up for us next week, we need to experiment with what we've got. I think Roydell probably has the most potential out of the receivers we have, but he goes braindead at times, and it's killing us.

He may be our most consistent WR. Thats what I think is so horrible. Its Justin Gage.
