Nick, SEC has predominantly been running game and defense focused.

All that needs to be said.

Drew Brees and Tom Brady are from the Big 10, how is that working out for their conference right now?

    Who cares.

No doubt they are the best conference in the NCAA.. but their QBing is an anomaly. It doesn't stop teams from taking them in the first round.

    Newton in 2011
alarmingly high bust rate. Anybody care to venture a guess as to why? Maybe because their good teams make their QBs look better than they are.. but for certain.. as an NFL fan, I don't want an SEC QB.

The only 3 i don't consider busts are Cutler (who didn't do anything for his original team, so not a good 1st round pick), And the Mannings.

I consider Stafford a bit of a bust as well. Throws about as many INTs as TDs. CERTAINLY not worth the #1 overall pick. An average QB at a steep, steep pricetag.

Cam newton is still up in the air.. but I believe he will bust.

So 3/10.. not too good. If you count players who were worth it to their original team, that's 2/10 (mannings, maybe Newton)

I don't care how it fares for their conference. I don't watch college football. When it comes to producing quality QBs, Big 10- or 14, or whatever they are this season, produces better QBs. don't know why. Not hating on the SEC.. if I were a college fan, I would be a Vols fan.

3 years later? The SEC will make you a millionaire the day you sign your LOI. Just ask Auburn and Cam Newton

What does that have to do with anything? Tell me a good team Oregon beat? Kansas St? The one with a poor man Tebow clone and got throttled by Baylor? The only other good team they faced was Stanford and we see how that ended.

Btw UGA has a good offense and future NFL QB. Should we count Michigan? Tennessee had a pretty good offense, too bad they had horrible coaching and no defense.

Oh yes, the SEC is the only places those things happen

    http://www.deseretnews.com/article/...-UNLOADS-ON-FREE-SHOES-UNIVERSITY.html?pg=all

And the ACC is pure as the driven snow

    http://espn.go.com/college-football...-davis-era-sets-north-carolina-tar-heels-back

and they would never break NCAA rule

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clemson_University_steroid_scandal

The ACC simply would never allow such things to happen

Only in the SEC do those kinds of violations happen
