A Titans offensive stat that says it all

Hey its spelt Fletcher .But anyway what your saying is none of it is Chows fault and it's all on Fisher? Maybe its Lendales fault for not hitting the hole fast enough or the lines fault for not keeping them open long enough? I guess your right and it could work with Chow as OC but it seems Jeff needs to have a bit more Confidence in Vince and not worry about being in 3rd and 8 or 3rd and 10 and let him throw it around on 1st down.It is sad tho knowing that if we did get a new OC we probably would just see the same results

 

I too believe the stat is meaningless until we can compare it to the other teams. There's no relativity here. That stat is daunting at first glance, but is it? I just don't know. It may be the league average.

 

That reminds me of the (Madden?) commercial with the gamer coaching Fisher:

Gamer: "Run the fake punt!"
Fish: "No! That never works..."
"Not running it is a big mistake!"
(Fish, to headset): "Run the fake punt."
"You know what else is a big mistake? Cutting Eddie George! ...."

 

Just read an article on espn's website called week15 number crunching,And it says we are 5th in the league in rushing offence on 1st down,and only Denver and Minnesota have more runs of 5yds or more on 1st down. Going back to some of the games, i'm thinking the problem we have most is on 2nd down getting the 0 or negative yards.Plenty of times been watching on Gamecentre we have gone from 2nd and 6 to 3rd and 8 by rushing the ball yet again.
