Why do people hate Favre? Who am I to fault the guy for playing if he wants to keep playing? Guys a great player, still fun to watch.

Because he's a turd. He's the most overrated QB in the league... and one of the most, if not the most, overrated players in league history.

There's no problem with him continuing to play. It's his indecisivenes and retirement/unretirement that has killed all respect I once had for him.

Tired of hearing about the Saints. Tired of hearing about Katrina, we all know what happened by now. Always great to see they hyped team get beat at home. Hope the Ravens beat the Jets down also.

I'm actually with you on that one... and it's only because we have no chance, whatsoever, of ending with a better record than the Ravens. If New York can get off to a bad start and Ray Lewis gets in his nightly knifings, we may have a shot at ending the season with a better record than the Jets. Hell, Mark Sanchez is their QB. Last time I checked, he sucks... still a longshot though.

Optimistically hoping for a tie in that game.

On a related note, according to Wikipedia, Vince Young has a higher career passer rating than Brett Favre.

There is nothing wrong with being indecisive about such an important decision in your life and you wouldn't have a problem with him being indecisive if there wasn't round the clock Favre watch on ESPN during the off season.

The only reason I hate watching the Saints is because its a reminder of how awesome Gregg Williams is as a DC. Chuck Cecil please don't disappoint again.

That's wikipedia for ya... obviously an incorrect statistic, and I have no clue why Favre's rating is listed that low. His career QB rating is above 85. I am, in no way, saying Favre is a bad QB. The dude is just overrated as hell. I posted a month or so ago a list of QBs who have either better QB ratings than him or better TD/INT ratios. You would be stunned if you knew all of them and how much better the great ones really are in comparison to Favre.

Maybe "indecisive" wasn't the best word to use to describe Favre's situation. We're all indecisive, but Favre is an immature, selfish prima donna. Not many people like the guy anymore, and that's a shame because he used to be very likeable. I liked him; most people did. Now that's just not the case at all.

Q: Whose fault is it that there's 'round the clock Favre watch on ESPN?
    A: Brett Favre
