A New Backup QB Should Be A Free Agency Priority

    Not the top priority, but a priority nonetheless. So spare me the "we have bigger priorities" comments.

    And we do not need to look to the mid rounds of the draft. We need a vet. Someone who can help mentor Mariota the way Dave Kreig and Neil O'Donnell mentored McNair. Besides, this team has relied too much on young players on offense.

    Though it might be good to draft a QB late to compete with Mett for third string.

    Some decent vet names on there like:
    • Drew Stanton
    • Chad Henne
    • Ryan Fitzpatrick
    • Matt Moore
    • Matt Cassel
