If he took it in Feb why would it still be in his system in August..or whenever the test was..?

I'm curious about that as well.Do they test players year round or just randomly at anytime?

They give him the test not long after he took the substance. Since it happened it has been apealed twice and rejected both times.

Sucks to hear. I wonder how many players actually take steroids. Tarnishes the game if everybody is juicing.

Hall claims he tested positive for a stimulate he took to help him stay awake during a long drive from Nashville to Texas. Drugs that are considered performance enhancing are not limited to steroids and Human Growth Hormones.

If we gave up a draft pick, then Hall is as good as gone. We essentially just "drafted" his replacement.

Pretty dumb move by Hall especially considering he was one of the guys who was a leader and who motivated the team.We really needed him considering Johnson just now came back and all.

Yeah it must have been recent because there's no way we would have went into preseason so thin at FB and not even trying out other FBs.

That and the trade for a FB makes it seem like it was awful sudden.


This is the situation to me: Quinn Johnson acquired for a pick means he's not leaving the team on a whim when Hall returns. If he does, that's awfully poor management. This is Quinn's audition these 4 games and if he passes the test, Hall gets walking papers.

I think we aren't necessarily flat-out cutting Hall already, but the fact we traded for a guy means we're definitely considering it and have put investment in a guy we think can replace him.
