My point is.. Klug led the the team with sacks (7) as a DEFENSIVE TACKLE. When a player succeeds like that as a rookie, why change is position?

Maybe he is on the phone with security telling about some guy taking a picture of him? If he sees you board the plane he might freak!

All kidding aside, thanks for the picture and report.

I agree with the original post, especially about Egboh. He could surprise a lot of people.

Isn't Al Afalava that guy with a cow lick?

    How is Klug Ball 2.0?

Fact: Karl Klug recorded 7 sacks in his rookie year
Fact: Ball didn't record 7 sacks in a year 'til his 7th season

Heck, Ball only has 15.5 sacks in 8 seasons.

And Klug plays DT whereas Ball plays DE, DT is much harder to record sacks from.

Back on topic, I think Hawkins has the best chance of these 5 to make an impact. Egboh should earn a roster spot this year too, as the 4th or 5th DE (I expect us to carry 5). He should have a chance to make an impact -- He just has to beat out Sheppard & Douzable IMO.

Karl Klug is so far from being Dave Ball it's crazy. The only thing you can say is the same is the number of letters it takes to spell their names.

It took Ball years to learn how to beat a blocker, thats what Klug is best at.

People see a high effort white guy and automatically compare the two :sad2:

Klug > Ball and it really isn't even close

    Great post lol.

The 5 "scrubbiest" players would be

    1.) Eugene Amano
    2.) Shaun Smith
    3.) Ryan Mouton
    4.) SenDerrick Marks
    5.) Daniel Graham

IMO they should all be cut

That's gotta be what it is.

Klug is a guy who can play now if we need him to, whereas Ball was a guy just good enough to make a roster and over time has taken advantage of the coaching he's gotten. Guy like Dave Ball take 4-5 years before they can be counted on. And umm, well Klug was probably our best lineman last year.
