If we did that (which I heartily approve of) and gave up this years third, that really puts us on the spot to find a Center in the fourth....

If that happens, the offense would gain...

    Wright
    Hutch
    New Center

    The Defense would gain

    Wimbley
    Osi
Our second (a DT hopefully, Still or Worthy)

Would have to give the FO an A+ on team improvement for the offseason wouldn't you?

Let's make our 2nd round pick, then decide if this trade is necessary.

If we miss out on a DL and go LB or OL instead, then this could make a lot of sense.

What does "second day" mean now? It used to mean 4th or later. Has this term been adjusted to the new prime time format, by which it means 2nd or 3rd?

People keep throwing the term "first day" and "second day" around, and I don't know what they mean anymore. "first day" would basically mean first round now right? So just say first round!

I say we keep building through the draft. We would be overpaying for him and we just signed Wimbely. Might just be a smokescreen.

The only credible source about the Titans having any interest in Umenyiora is Jim Wyatt saying that it's not happening.

This looks like just a dream at this point. Not reality.

It makes more sense than gambling and gives us a guy who can come in and contribute on day one.

I'm not usually the one to advocate trades but they need to give him a look. The only way I would be happy in the 3rd is if we end up getting Amano's replacement.

I would still like to do this if he can be had for a 4th or 5th.

Well no one can have him for a second day pick so there is still hope.
