I would so much rather have the D we have today than the one Cecil put out there last year.

Wouldn't it be nice to have Dontari Poe on our line, a big body powerful tackle who can push the pocket. Smith is to use to playing in the 3-4 and just sit on the line, Poe can come in and move the pocket while taking on multiple defenders. Freeing Casey one on one, than if we get a legit DE in the future how nice our defense will look Morgan seems like a good anchor to stop the run than be a legit pass rusher which is not bad to have on the line.

Other pick-ups I would not mind:
    Kawann Short
    Mister Cobble
Alameda Ta'amu (if he falls not worth a first or second)

I based my picks off of what could be 3rd or later seeing how we have other needs first

Yup that's exactly what I was talking about a couple posts back. Poe would be a good fit but I see him going in the first because of sheer need and demand at the NT position.

Exactly right their Poe and Cox will both jump ahead where they should to the 1st and 2nd round to 3-4 teams more than likely

I might get some hate for this but it wouldn't be bad to look at Jerel Worthy

He was consider to be the top DT coming into the season, than questions about his conditioning and work ethic came into play. If he falls in the draft because of so, if we can find some way to get him motivated and playing like the end of his junior year he could be a steal.

What you said might be true, but your making things up when you claim the entire defense quit all because of Babin....

Seems like the #1 excuse around here is, WE QUIT! WE QUIT!

I remember when the Texans ran all over us the first time we faced them everyone was so sure we were quitting and not playing inspired football. Uh, Hello? The texans are a better team, we were getting beat, not quitting.

At this point evidence shows that not resigning Babin was a mistake.

Eagles run D was 16th in the league. We were 24th.

Eagles tied for 1st in the league for sacks. We were 2nd from last.

Take it for what its worth. I know its an entire line's effort but...

I didn't say that, you yourself are making that up. And this team has quit, not this year though. 3 times last year!

Saying "having Babin made our defense quit" leads me to believe that you are saying that having Babin made our defense quit.

    Maybe I misunderstood, too.:clown:

Watching Babin is probably what made Desean Jackson hold out, skip meetings, not run routes etc. Why should I make big plays when he is just going to give them up again?
