    such as?

I've never said anything as ridiculous as accusing an entire defense of quitting because of Jason Babin..

Personally I don't think that Gray's philosophy of BIGGER is Better is going to work to ever produce a consistent pass rush. It is really rare to find a BIG DE with the athleticism to really get up the field.

People might not like it but Mario Williams would be the perfect fit in Gray's system.

I think in the 4-3 you have to have beef on the inside and speed coming off the edges. You can't just have beef all across the front unless you are planning on doing more exotic blitzing to get your pass rush via confusion.

I would like to see us run more of a 4-3/3-4 hybrid system like the Cardinals do. Getting another pass rushing OLBer would allow us to do that.

If our line can't get to the Qb they better stop the run and than hasn't happened.I am giving 1 mulligan for this year, but it better get fixed .I love the idea of a hybrid 3-4 de slash lb that could drop and cover if nessesary, but still put his hand in the ground and rush effectivelyWe don't have to totally commit to a 3-4 we just need 1 guy.The Poe kid from memphis is believe could help in the middle.

You don't understand things very well if you don't agree that Babin sets the man behind him up for failure.
No defesne is fast enough to make up for 10 on 11. Babin crawls around and is useless.

I know I wouldn't mind Super Mario joining the Titans. He's the ideal DE in our scheme. It may actually be a match made in heaven if leaving Houston was something he's willing to do. We send Casey's fat azz out in the flats to cover the pass, getting Mario would be perfect for us since he's a waaaay way better coverage guy than allll of our D-Linemen.

I use to play noseguard on a line that used wide 9 techniques it was a disaster, all it took was the tackle to ride the guy than let the fullback scrap the linebacker than off to the races

That's not what I said either. What I'm telling you is Babin falls down, OLB gets devoured by 320lb man, both safeties see that and no longer want to take on the play. Or at least's thats what I've seen happen 3 times to this team in 2010.

Then what ends up happening is the other OLB wont pursue cause he realizes its a lost cause.

The only way you make up for that kind of thing happening is by not having your DE wide 9 and exposing the OLB to trouble. It even messes up the DT next to him cause he's nonexistent half the time.

And if you think I simply hate the wide 9 you'd be wrong, it works if your DE can stay on his feet and recover like Kearse could do. Babin is no kearse. He's a curse, but no Jevon Kearse.

Bigger is better doesn't mean bigger isn't athletic.

We used smaller 250 guys as des and tweener DT for speed... All speed.

I'd much rather have a legit sized DT duo, Casey is already shown great things all we need now is a good NT to eat blocks and push the pocket back. Gives the line backers better vision to close their gaps and gives Casey a single guard to beat and get inside pressure. Another good DE weak side for mainly pass rush and we are good to go.

The smith signing is very telling of what we want up front. He was supposed to be that NT... But he is the definition of suck.
