#3 WR: Gage or Williams

    This argument has merit in a 2 WR set but not 3.

    In a 3 Wr set you want a quick shifty guy (prototype Welker/Royal) that can get separation on drag routes etc...

    CJ has a high per carry average on 3 WR sets because it's defensive suicide to put 8 in the box against 3 WRs.

    Gage would not be effective as a slot reciever and his added blocking value over Williams is not enough to warrant the start.

    In slot formations we would move Nate to the slot and put gage in Nates spot...And you act like Gage is some scrub who can't catch while williams is the next Andre Johnson...Both are mediocre, but at least Gage can rocket catch

    Gage can rocket catch but will drop the gimme across the middle (see first play of Broncos game). If both are mediocre, Williams' mediocre is above Gage's mediocre based on speed alone and shiftiness.
