    The small quick back myth..

Enough already! There is no evidence whatsoever that just being fast and quick translates to being explosive in the nfl. Look at reggie bush he has not been any more explosive in the nfl than landale white!

I'm 100% against drafting another back but if we would consider that simply draft a back who looks like he might be damn good not just because the back is small and fast. A guy like mendenhall..

The ultimate small back in this league is LADANIAN TOMLINSON. Stop ignoring that.

    Need another? Willie Parker.

That makes 3 in the top 5 (including westbrook) rushers this season. Not really helping your argument any. All these guys are 'undersized' and speedy. Warrick Dunn is about the smallest back in the league, and he's had a great career.

If not WR in the 1st then draft one in the 2nd. Also thinking a RB in the 3rd or 4th round. Like Forsett from Cal or Patrick from Oklahoma.

cason - can be a shutdown corner and helps on ST - esp if we dont get pac back
adibi/vince hall - both are studs and would add immediate depth and help in our LB core - hall would be the answer for MLB and we could consider going to a 3-4 on def
manningham - if he falls and we dont go WR in 1st (id rather go kelley or sweed)

This team will go offence in the first two rounds.

And it will either be 1. WR 2. RB or 1. RB 2. WR. A new OC came here for a reason. And, there's only one player on our offence that could make him come here.

That being said, I don't think he came to work with Vince Young and Vince Young alone. I have to believe he was promised that this team would pursue offensive talent in FA and the early rounds of the draft.

Gloat, how in the hell is a guy who weighs 221 lbs small? Tomlinson is listed at 5'10 221.

It has nothing to do with drafting a small back. You don't get it it has to do with this moronic notion that because jamal charles can sprint through giant holes for long runs that will somehow translate into being an explosive nfl back. How is willie parker(209 lbs by the way) make anybody's argument when the guy was an undrafted gift? How many backs in this league truly are like willie parker and able to translate that speed into success on the field?

If westbrook was in this draft he would not get any attention from the people on this board because they would deem him not fast enough yet he takes that 4.57 speed and is a big time player.

Duh, again warrick dunn 12th pick in his draft not some guy they picked up in rd 2. Faulk, sanders, dorsett small backs who were very successful but we couldn't draft them now and we sure in the hell couldn't draft LT. So what friggin good does it do brag on a guy like LT when if he was in this draft we couldn't touch him? If jamal charles is so damn good he would be a top 10 pick.
