My biggest thing with wr in general, is tge fact that, we've never picked up or drafted a stud. Maybe its a thing of the past, but i always am skeptical of our wr core. I would like to see what a true wr threat looks like in 2 tone blue, because we've won plenty without that guy. We just won 9 games without thst guy. So whatever we have to do draft, fa or both, we need a true wr threat.

Kenny Britt, Justin Hunter, Tyrone Calico and Kendall Wright were studs coming out of college.

While, Antonio Brown and many others weren't.

We've tried and tried to find the next great #1 WR to no avail.

That's what im saying. All we ever get is duds. Seriously, sharpe and mathews both have a chance of being the best drafted wr and best fa wr we've ever picked up, since being in tn, lol.

That can't be true, you need a number 1 receiver to win a Super Bowl, someone to be a real dynamic play maker. Look at all the Super Bowl rings these great number 1 receivers won over the years:
    • Calvin Johnson
    • Randy Moss
    • Terrell Owens
    • Chris Carter
    • Steve Smith

    • High Five High Five x 1

And revis had to go to pats to get his ring, Asomugha never got one, Bailey never got one

you could play this game with any position...

And the Patriots needed Revis to win another title.

This is a silly argument. History is not a handful of cherry picked guys. Can you win without a great wr? Yes. Can you win without a great rb? Yes. Can you win without a great (or even avg) qb? Yes. Can you win without a stellar D? Yes.

You can argue any single one of these points until you are blue in the face. But one thing is true. You need some major studs somewhere! If you don't have the QB or offense, you better have a Hall of Fame caliber D. If you don't have the D, you better have a spectacular offense. Or you better be a well balanced team that can beat you in a variety of ways.

The more weaknesses you have, the better the other parts of the team had better be. But you can't be a terrible secondary, have a bad special teams unit, have mediocre coaching and an avg wr corp.

We have holes to fill and upgrades to make. Some may want a spectacular wr, others want the Bears 46 D from '85...point is, we gotta keep improving the team...and that's not just the players!;)

Oh come on I was going off the top of my head.

Moss should have gotten one for the Pats.
