I agree it certainly can. But it also would be a red flag about decision making and maturity. Especially since he put himself in a situation where 3 people were shot and killed last April.

From what I have read Foster was at a club where a shooting occurred. ****** situation, but it's not uncommon.

The pool hall that I frequent had a shooting about a year ago. I ain't getting fired or not hired for that...

I am not a fan. I just rewatched his 3 games on Draftbreakdown (vs FSU, Memphis, and Auburn) but I came away the same as I did watching him during the year. He's a tease in a big body but not a JRob type player. He loafs...a LOT!

He beat McFadden on a slant for a TD at the beginning of the year, but the Memphis and Auburn games are better indicators. He runs fairly sloppy routes but more importantly, he's coasting far too much. When I watch Evan Ingram get 10-15 yards down the field and break to the inside the same time Stringfellow is...but he's at 5 yards or less - that's a problem. He doesn't run by anyone because he doesn't go max acceleration on the snap. That's why most of his catches are contested.

I think it was the Memphis game where he dropped a couple. He also loafed on a running play away from him...pretending like the S was too far so I'll just jog. When the rb makes some nice moves and cuts back to his side with 2 defenders to beat, Stringfellow wakes up and actually blocks them both! He also made a GREAT catch leaping up and reaching behind him in the air to catch it. But the very next play on a wide open slant he drops it.

He's certainly got some talent but for me - not a lot of heart. If you're 6'2 and 220lbs, a small DB should not be out leaping you for a ball in the endzone. And if you can't run by anyone, you better have magnets for hands...not make one great catch and drop 3 easy ones, not fire off the ball, not run block. In the Auburn game, his QB rolls to his side...he kind of looks at his db and decides to not even try to block him and his DB lights up his QB with a running start.

Lack of effort leads to 2 things....poor execution (not blocking, sloppy routes, not getting open or blocking in scramble, mistakes) and not reaching your full potential.

Stringfellow has some potential. The combine will tell us how much but with our lack of success developing WR's and JRob setting up a new culture (of heart and effort and winning) on this team, Stringfellow is not a good fit IMO.

Yeah he needs to put on more weight and I agree he got beat on some slants. But I think he has excellent man cover skills on deep passes and can keep up with even the fastest receivers. I saw a lot of his games and don't recall him giving up any big plays.

Cam sutton and chad kelly are two later round guys that im interested in. I think we need to grab a late, young qb in this draft to back up Mariota. Teams need qbs so badly, that it's a good idea to take late developmental guys that could be traded for in a few years. Also mm is at the point where a vet backup isn't something he needs anymore. As for sutton, he's a guy that shoulda coulda been a 1st round pick. He wasn't developed right, but still has a high ceiling, imo. I think he could be had in the 3rd or 4th.

What's up with Desmond King? A lot of buzz that teams may want him to transition to S.

I have him as my #2 CB right now lol

I saw an article that said a scout said he is a safety because he "can't run"... he returned kicks for Iowa though..
