2016 Mariota vs 2015 Mariota

Obviously a capable center is important but there's one leader of the o line and he sure as hell ain't an ex texan

 

you should make a thread with a poll asking the fans whos more important, Jones or Luann

 

Lewan is the best OL we got, has been since he was drafted. I realize the first two years that is not saying much but it means something this year. Even having an off year last year he was still the best we had.

 

No way Jones is more important than Lewan

He has to be. Do not get me wrong, Ben Jones was a smart signing. We needed to upgrade the OL and it was nice to add a more veteran presence

but no way he is more important than Lewan.

You making fun of his name? At least he was not named after the guy who played Cooter on Dukes of Hazzard:

 

I wouldn't go that far, but I would say Jones makes Lewan be better. He can just focus on the play... not what will happen to the guy next to him.

I heard most of the 3rd one, other than than nothing

 

Better OL, WR and RB, along with improving awareness and his all around game. He's significantly improved on the deep ball, throwing it away, making better decisions, really I'd say he's improved everywhere.

I'm excited to see what he looks like next year, I'm sure he'll develop more and JR will get more pieces to fix the defense so Mariota has more time with the ball.

I'll cautiously say it's a pretty exciting time to be a Titans fan. Hope they finish strong, I have full confidence in JR nailing another FA/draft.
