'Nightmare scenario' for FIFA with Germany-USA game. If the game ends up a draw then both teams get to the next round:

Highly doubt Germany plays for a tie.

Umm that is exactly what they will do.

They will come out playing defensively and minimize the US attack.

Germany doesn't need to win. They don't need the goals.

The US will come out gun blazing going all in thought.

I more see us playing for a tie than Germany.

and then there's the lingering wonder of mine- what does our coach do when we play his native land? Seems conflicting- at least a bit.

I am starting to wonder now. Both will want the top spot in the group so they do not have to play Belgium. US will probably get in anyway with a loss as I believe Ghana would need a three goal win to get in. And Klinsman is still bitter about the way things ended at Bayern Munich. Many German fans have a negative opinion of his coaching ability after his stint at Bayern. Klinsman would love to prove the doubters wrong.

Germany gets the top spot if there's a tie because of goal differential. I honestly don't know what's going to happen tomorrow, if it's still 0-0 in the 2nd half then I can see both just sitting back.

I think the US comes out aggressive and probably really pushes the ball to test Germany.

Germany isn't going to do anything risky unless they find themselves down in the 2nd.

I'm expecting a draw unless the US gets a couple goals early.

At around 60 to 70 min mark this games is going to slow way down if they are even at 0-0 or 1-1.
