I would love Max Bullough from Michigan State in the later rounds

He's not an every down linebacker but would instantly improve our run again, we have Brown and Gooden for passing situations.

Your going to discredit a guy over 1 game, every prospect in college has a bad game or two. Notre Dame as a whole team look bad against Alabama.

It would be hard for us to go OT, WR, and QB in the first round with our recent investments. I still think Locker gets another shot this year, on top a lot of the QB in this class might stay another year. OT can be found in later rounds and be day 1 starters, and with the emergence of Hunter and Wright WR seems unlikely.

That leaves DE/DT and the biggest needs possible CB/S

James Hurst apparently just snapped his leg in two. ESPN isn't showing a replay because it was too gruesome. A senior OT who would have been in the late first or early second.

Good thing we have so many meaningless bowl games, right?

Not just one game. I honestly don't get the hype period. He has never impressed me. If you're that big you should be able to abuse olineman and he doesn't.

There are much better prospects out there that we can get later. Guys that actually produced in college.

And I didn't mean bpa all around. I always think you should get bpa at a position that you may need a guy. Like clearly wr, g, c, cb(if we resign verner) are not needs so those wouldn't be included.

And you really think we're going to put our faith in locker again? Idk man. I love the guy and I feel for him, but you can't just keep betting on him to stay healthy. We have to get a good qb to sit behind him atleast. If a qb falls to us that we think can change our fortunes then we gotta take a serious look.

Also, why would it be hard to go OT in the first? I don't get that one at all. I see that as something we could very easily do. Especially with your scenario of betting on locker to stay healthy for a full season.

Theirs no QB in this draft that are mind blowing, so is it really worth a 1st round pick?

OT are plentiful in every round of the draft you can find a starting RT in the 4th round, that is what makes it hard to take one so early, especially after drafting Warmack last year.

I'm not saying Nix is my top candidate for our first pick but he is definitely one of them, after him their are some DT I like but they are all in the same mold of Casey.

If I were a sure fire 1st round draft pick, you couldn't get me to play in the Walmart or Snickers bar Bowl type bowl games.. Risk way too much for absolutely nothing.

Now BCS games are a different story. I watched that game and saw that he didn't need any air casts, so I'm not sure if that injury was as serious as they made it seem.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. If it's that bad of an injury there is usually an air cast and cart involved. They just helped him off the field like they would anyone else who was injured. Although he didn't put a bit of weight on it.
