    He's a DECENT qb... a game manager.

Not even close to being worth his draft status and is still considered an ultimate bust.

I'm very surprised to see all the hate this pick got. The way I see it...we have a solid 5 at offensive line for the foreseeable future. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, offensive line has been our biggest weakness as a team for the past 2 seasons. Really, since Kevin Mawae left after the 2009 season we haven't been the same. This FO has shown a determination to fix that. There are what, 8-9 really solid, reliable, workhorse LTs in the NFL? We just grabbed a long term starter, and now have 3/5 2015 OL starters in their second or third year. With solid veterans too. I liked this pick to begin with. Paired with Bishop, I love it. Whether it's Jake or someone else, our QB of the future has a lot of weapons and a lot of protection to work with in the next 5 years. Color me very excited. #bigpicture

So many of yall are upset with picking an OT with our first round. Most on this board agreed that Locker was getting good or even was good before the injuries last season. So why are you upset when the FO chooses to improve our O line? Everyone want the flashy pick, I get it. I personally would rather build a solid team. And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Oilers do this very thing in Matthews and Much? I believe we had a dominate line with those two for years.

    Just my thoughts.

Well not everyone. Some people are cranky. More when the pick was made. I was all like this when the pick was made:

But like a lot of people here I thought about it and am pretty much okay with it. Not excited but cool with it.
