Because he can go at literally any moment. If he was 27, that's different, but he is getting old.

 

Roos will be 31 when the season starts, theres been lot of franchise LT's that perform at a high level well passed 31, it wouldn't be a bad move to re-sign him so long as he maintains his standard of play. Not like he's ever been hurt or missed a game, guy is a rock.

 

Yeah but you get 2 or 3 more years as opposed to one of the better prospects in some time? I dunno, plus the cap savings.....seems like a smart move.

 

Willie Roaf made Pro Bowls at 33, 34, 35, and 36 years old, that could be Roos too.

Dont discount a guy cause he's older, 31 is not 40, Roos has plenty left in the tank.

 

Roos is way past his prime. Him and stewart gave it their all as titans. The only reason I can find why both declined so rapidly as they hit their 30s.

 

Way passed? Not at all.

Theres been a decline yes, but actually his worst years were 2010 and 2011, so he's shown he can recover from a down year.

 

Don't need to cut him. He's a FA after next year.

 

Johnny Football is about to FALL in our draft. I could see this happening in real life too.

 

Oh yea, 2nd rounder, can't wait to see that come true.

Im going to try and make the draft this year, should be good watching him slip from the draft.
